Hello members, Recently Shawn had posted some of the gorgeous pics of hoyas here . He had generously posted seeds to me, and we had agreed to share those seeds to members of Petpitcher. (Thanks Shawn!) After doing seed count, i had portioned them to 5 small packages. Each package contains about 8 seeds. I also receive Aristolochia Litoralis aka Aristolochia Elegans from Shawn to share, and had portioned them to 8 small packages. Each package contains 10 seeds. Anybody interested, as usual, put your name into the list below and u can send me a SASE. Hoya (Crytoceras Floribondum) 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Aristolochia Litoralis 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Naj

Hi Naj, Regarding the Aristolochia Litoralis...I had them marked as A. elegans and they are from last years seed. The newer plants are now 20 feet up into the trees so it shouldn't be long for fresh pods now. Sorry, if the germination isn't so hot.
And the Hoya (Crytoceras Floribondum) - I'm sorry that's all the seed you got! I have more here left over and 10, count 'em - 10 pods that are probably less than 2 weeks away from ready, so if you want/need more just PM me! It only seems to be viable for a few weeks and I hate to see them go to waste. (But I have ENOUGH already!!!)

Hi, I love Hoyas. I only own a couple, but mine at work has flowered numerous times(much more forgiving for me as a houseplant than Nepenthes!) I did not know the seed has a short viability span. I will try the othe plant also(if the response is not great) , from last year's seed. I will have to look up the conditions for that. Cheers,
Joe Hoya (Crytoceras Floribondum) 1. Joe Griffin 2. 3. 4. 5.
Aristolochia Litoralis 1.Joe Griffin 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8.

Ops.. i am late again... try reserve list Just curious that, Hoya can grow from seed or leaf? my one is from leaf one! Edmund Hi Edmund, This hoya grows really well from seed and quite quickly. I wrote a lot about growing it in the original thread so will only stress that it is a "bush" form, not a vine like most hoyas and it loves to grow in soil, unlike most other hoyas. Germination is fast and my latest batch are flowering already at 6 months from germination. Cuttings work well too, but I just had such an abundance of seed I figured I'd just spread it around...lots more coming in a week or two.

Hi Aaron,
Here's what you sent me on Mar 18, via PM; My address:
Aaron Ang, Jalan Gembira, Taman Gembira, 83000 Batu Pahat, Johor, Malaysia.
I guess there was a street number that is not in there. See what artificalive has left, otherwise I will have more in about 1-2 weeks and will re-send to you. Sorry, last night I was thinking that your pack was one of those with cuttings in it! The seeds will be much easier to replace! Good Luck!

So, i guess the postman will round and round the Taman Gembira and shouting for Aaron Ang. ;D

Hello artificialive,
I have a suggestion, u keep your portion and give out my portion la. Lols, Because i am still a newbie, i have lots more to learn first before planting so many different plants. Hehe, and i think u guys surely like the Hoya much more than me. So i'll pass this time.
