Sorry, I meant wings on the tendril...like the ribbon.
Another thing is, do young rafflesiana var. alata plants have got thicker tendrils...tendrils that are more thick and flat instead of the usual cylindrical, thin tendril. I noticed that at where the leaf and the tendril joins, it is also different. But my experience is limited.

cindy,young raff. var alata have thick tendril and flatten towards the edge. There are uneven extension of the leaves along the edge of tendril which eventually formed the ribbon.
I have seen the nivea form but young plant and the alata features can't be confirm until they posessed bigger pitchers.
