Hi guys,
I have 10 rhyncostylis (fragrance type) seedlings to give away.
Unfortunately, I can only send it to the first 5 that replies this message. So, there will be 2 seedlings for the fortunate forumner.
Since this are seedlings, I can only send it to Malaysians because it might need phyto cert to be send to oversea. Sorry guys...
Please pm me your address if you're the first 5.
1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

Plantlover.. It depends on the size of seedling you gonna get... In my opinion a mix of sphagnum moss and small charcoal chips will be fine...

Hi guys,
I'll mail the seedlings tomorrow (Tuesday), forgotten today is public holiday.
Right now, I suggest charcoal chips and moss since the seedlings are still small (approx. 4-5 cm leaves end to end). But, when it grows, it can be grown without any media (like vanda). But if you use this method, you have to water it twice a day.

I've got charcoal. The only thing missing is moss.

rhynchostylis is actually an epiphytes and loves free flowing air around it's roots. When it's still young, I think you can use only charcoal as potting mix but try and water it twice a day since charcoal can't hold water and free draining. I use sphagnum moss and charcoal because I only water it once a day. But when it start growing, I'll put it in vanda basket so the roots will grow hanging.
