It's odd. There were flytraps and sarras all around it too. Those were untouched.

I think it's Choong's squiral at your place now. It was his nepenthes and now they've decided to create havoc at your place.

Have u tried to repropagate the primuliflora using the leaf cutting technique? It is very easy to grow
