Got this succulent about 1 year ago. after a few rounds of fertiliser & some neglect ( due to no blooms) , i chanced upon it`s huge flower bud & wa-laa, the same nite, it bloomed. Extremely fragrant. One time bloom from about midnite to 3 a.m. ( i dont know when it closes, i was told 3 - 6 a.m.) then it becomes a small dragonfruit-like errr fruit. tze bud tze gorgeous one time flower

That is one big gorgeous flower. There is a saying the bloom bring good luck. Any good chance lately???

Errrr....lemme think......naw, i think life has been pretty normal. Some folks asked me to buy lottery but well, i don`t gamble. Except for the gambles I take with new CP purchases. Heheh.

Thought so.......hehe! I knew this will be your answer. The plant also can withstannd full sun with reddish tinge to it. Mebbe you can try day.

I see some gardens have their plants very upright & reddish tinge in full sun. I guess the leaves would be more rigid under hotter conditions. Mine looks flaccid in comparison ( still talking about bakawali here ).....i`ll plant one in hot sun laa to try out.

err.... my mom used to have em... big showy flowers but only blooms at night and "kecut" before sunrise... Have to wait to see it in its full glory and it's worth the wait.... Beautiful....
Huh? It became a fruit? Never happened before with my moms' one.... They usually dries off just like that...
