I don`t know what it is actually called but this plant floats on water, looks like a pompom & spreads like crazy fast. very cute. need a sunny position to do well, if not it`ll become flat.   close up  |

Giant salvinia ( Salvinia molesta ), water fern, butterfly fern. Beside the lighting. It need high nutrients to grow it well. Else, it will just melt.

thx Dom.....i do put some fish based fertiliser in the water but if i forget, it seems to be ok as well.

That is good enough. Or you can keep some platy or guppy inside there. Their poo poo is good enough to grow this water fern.
