Thanks for this interestting post. I guess it must stink real bad in the greenhouse where the plant is since the rat is rotting in the pitcher. Haa, haa...
Isaac, you must be careful when posting about dead animals or animal torture. Jeff has a very soft spot for animals, including insects. Either that or put a clause to warn Jeff not to look... I better not tell him what I do to pet store crikets and my neps.

You know how I struggled to open this thread and made reply? Phobia since I was once chased by a rat when I was small.

I apologize for the gruesome pictures. Didn't know so many are could be terrified by them, but then I want to bring you back to reality, we are keeping carnivorous plants after all. These can happen to you too.

Just checked this thread today. Naj! You blew my cover. How could you!  Blurppppp......  Korean, i think the mouse is either dark brown or black. See the lump of hair at near the tail. The rest of the hair on the body seem to have been desolved by the digestive juices... amazing plant! |
