There countless of species to go with if you are looking for any plants with fragrant scent. As for Tillies, you can try for streptocarpa, reinbachii, duratii and mallemontii as mentioned. Not particulary sure about orchids. A good one is Phal vilacea or the common type where you can find then abundantly is those common pigeon orchid. Perhaps some orchid enthusians can elaborate further in this field.

To get fragrant Orchids you will have to order from specialist nurseries as these cheap hybrids you see in the shops do not have scent BUT there are loads of fragrant Orchids.
Are you looking for a particular group of Orchids? If you know which sort of group you want, I can reccomend you some species, as there are over 25,000 Orchid species and nearly 100,000 hybrids so it would be impossible to list every single fragrant Orchid.

Lisham : t.duratii`s flowers emit fragrance. the plant itself is normal ( not scented ). as far as i know, there are no airplants which have fragrant plant parts other than their flowers i.e. leaves, stems, etc.

Tarence: Passion flower? i googled for it and... what a beauty! it is a beautiful flower and it is fragrant? wow.. must search for it.. do u think there will be passion flower sold at putrajaya? ;D Andy: Thanks andy. I really know nothing about tills and i hope to pick up as fast as i can (differentiating tills, names, their requirements etc). What i can differentiate for now is only ionantha, bulbosa and medusa! hihi. Erm.. fragrant tills.. its a bit pricey compared to other tills.. isnt it? and they WILL die after flowering? Sam: Thanks to u too for appointing a fragrant Till Cosmoking: Thanks cosmo, but i dont know about orchids. I just know some of them, e.g. dendrobium, phalaenopsis, cattleya. perhaps u can recommend me some? kc: Thanks for posting your flower pics at least i have something to 'wash' my eyes with. heheh. Your morning glory looks more like petunia to me ;D

Naj: passion flower smells even better than it looks ! heheh. if i get like 2 or 3 blooms, it is enough to fragrant up the whole garden if the air is still. at it`s peak, i can get like 20 blooms a day on a matured plant. let`s see if they have it at Laman....i`ll try to post a pic of mine..it`s a lil` diff from the google pics.
fragrant tills are a lil` more expensive than normal ones i guess. the way to see it : they will produce pups after flowering ( don`t say die lah heheh )...you`ll say sayonara to the mother plant but welcome the new pups. it`s the cycle of life.

Tarence, didn't know u keep passion flower. Which type??
All mother plant dies off in Bromeliads. Tillandsia is included. But some will take years to die off completely. Lets assume the flowering branch dies off sending another few offshoots. It wouldn't hurt if you guys are looking by that perspective.................

Hoya smells scary too... I got 2... 1 white flower... 1 purplish deep marroon flower... Both smells at night... And they form vine... Which is more space saving that traditionally potted up plants... Easy to care... Just remember to forget to water them every day except once a week... a bit of sun and dont remove the flower stalks as they'll regrow flower on the same stalk...

hoho! this really gets interesting! Actually, im looking for fragrant flowers, but tried to limit to tills and orchids bcos i tot this forum has only CPs, Tills and orchids sifus. Luckily, and happily, im WRONG! haha ;D
i just got only 2 fragrant flowers, bunga melur and bunga kesidang. Bunga kesidang is the official flower of malacca, which smells like pandan. A flower stalk fragrant my whole garden (yaaa, i know its only a very tiny miny space in front of the house).
