Hi Andy/Tarence,
Wonderful collection of bromeliads, especially the neos. I love neos... I'm wondering where in KL I can get a wonderful collection of them. I found a nursery in Ipoh that carries quite a variety but some really very expensive.
Question, where do you get your exotic broms? I love "Neo. Cereze Albomarginated" in Andy's collection.
Please advise. Thanks.
Rgds, Isaac

Dear Isaacgoh,
Variegated and albomarginated Neos doesn't come cheap. Especially for the concentrica and carcharodon parentage. A good show plant should have very compact and wide open rosette form.
There are a lot of unregistered hybrids made avaliable in Thailand. Beautiful and good. I got mine from overseas through a friend of mine. If mine flowered and produce pups, I will inform you guys!

Andy, I just bought one variegated neo with compact leaves recently. I must admit, it really made my balcony look 'decorated' and classy. In the past I've been growing various crypts but it doesn't give my small garden the desired look until I bought the neo and anothe flowering brom. Do keep me updated on your broms. Next month I'll get another pot of neo from the same guy I bought from. Rgds, Isaac

Glad you've made a good decision. Care to share some photos of your small garden? My mini garden is still in construction, I tried so many types of plants which didn't do well because of various reasons. Sure I'll take a picture for you to see. My sarrachenia is also going to flower, so I'll take a picture together.
