Yeah, unique color. But i wonder why ur pics are very small. Tarence, try adjusting the size of the pic on the camera. Perhaps the pixel etc..

You could also try resize it in photoshop. Doubling the size in photoshop wont cause much loss of quality.

I`m using dialup, pic size is a big issue for me as it affects my speed. I refuse to use broadband as there are security issues when it comes to internet banking. ( i`m a internet banking specialist so i know )
These are Tillandsia Ionantha.......various varieties of it & also cross-breeds.

Perhaps u can tell us more on the security issue? I tot that online banking usually use https rather than http, and have some SSL use.

Here's a tip to reduce pic size with minimal quality loss. Open the file in Paint, and just ctrl-s to save. The file size is 1/3-1/4 of the original file size and I honestly can't tell the difference. All my pics are resaved in paint.

I`ll look for it David......i`ll post more Till photos when I have the time. Andy has quite a few gorgeous artistically taken ones. Home pc very slow, usually takes me about 2 hours to do a few pic posts coz dialup line putus, speed very slow, connection issues, page cannot be displayed etc.

By the way, I've adjusted it such so that all pictures are resized automatically to a even smaller size now. Hope this helps those who have slow internet line. Cheers...

David : you asked about the curly Till the other day. If you look at the 1st new photo i`ve posted, you can see it on the right hand side.....it`s a T. xerographica. Andy : any clear shot of the Till ? In all it`s glory I mean....David loves that one apparently..... If you want some un-artistic photos of Tills for sale, try this link : www.airplant.com/uz.htmlCheers........
