Feast your eyes with my T. duratii blooming plant. But unfortunately, wish there's a software that could capture it's scent when rubbed or scratched upon. Whole plant Inflorescence Flower

OMG.........I'm creating a green goblin....hehe!!(just joking). No offence...
David, this plant need full sun to thrive well. In the wild, they perched on tree tops by clinging to branches with their curly leaves. that is why you can see a curl at every leaves end. It will live by if you are hanging it at window sill. Growth will be minimal.
Btw, have I done some damage to you??? More to come you know.

Heheh...it`s a lovely Till...i have it too & when it bloomed last year, it scented the whole garden....I`m not kidding.....one of the stongest scented tills ah Andy ? i only have one other which is scented...the t.malemontii for comparison so i don`t really know. The t.duratii is unique both in its plant shape & the scented flowers, it`s like a 2 prong attack on the visual & sense of smell ( when it flowers laa) Errrrr...David...it`s expensive....you really want to hang that out of your window ?

I would suggest T. streptocarpa. This is another strong scented plant. Both it's form and flowers are similiar to duratii but in a smaller scale. In another word, it is the miniature form of duratii! And of course, it's inflorescence is shorter with less spikes. Athene........come over at midnight can aaa...... Sorry, I've just read this thread. Next time OK! Lisham.....For a more than 12" plant can cost for more than RM100++. Depending on the condition of the plant. A smaller plant or pups will be less pricy. There is a nurseryman in PG who manage to sell this sp. for RM 680.00 in recent plant show. The plant is about 20" tall.

tarence, if you can come all the way from puchong, come... anytime... it's just that andy is practically my neighbour, he lives something like 500m away from my house andy, haiya! i just read you msg now... you should have come @ midnite, there were still a lot of people then. next time, just come, no need to reconfirm lah... Actually we had the 40th day prayer for my late grandfather & a thanksgiving for the birth of my nephew in late afternoon, afterward it was just lots of friends & relatives enjoying my dad's cooking ;D Oh boy, there really were a lot of people! Thank god my mom ordered the extra tents! And of all the things, the maid decided to throw a tantrum yesterday! so imagine cooking for 200 people with no domestic help, just the four of us! I'm pooped!
