Very nice collection Jonathan,
May I know where did you get the paphio Lowiii from? Been searching for it in a few nurseries in Penang but unfortunately haven't found any yet.

How long before you managed to get the paph and phal to flower? Maybe Shah Alam is cooler than Penang. My phals only flowers once a year only after a cool spell like 2 weeks raining. Don't dare to start on Paph yet. From the accounts I get from orchid growers, they are fussy. Someone please tell me otherwise so I can get one.

Hi All.... Harris... I found the plant in Kl orchid park there is one booth that is selling it... but it's the last plant but if you want the next time i drop by there i'll inquire for you see weather do they still have them in stock... maybe i can help you buy it and send it over to you...(with no extra cost) Hi Bactrus... Actually i'm very new in orchid and all of the plant was bough with flower.... Regarding the paph i have get some advice from grower from other forum saying that it's not really that hard to grow them only it's hard to get them flower.... but if you provide the right condition for them they will flower happily.... make sure that the media is well drained media so they don't get roots rot, they need to be moist but not water logged... make sure when you water them are only watering around the media and be careful that water collected in the growth it will rot the growing point and also the flower will also rot if you have water logged in the pouch of the flower... never water them at night and make sure every part of the plant is dried and no water collected in the growth... mist them every morning... watering would depend to the media and condition they are grow on... for media i think you could refer to this web site www.goreorchidconservatory.com/CatalogAndInfo/Orchid-Potting-Mixes.htmlif you ask a thousand of paph grower you could get a thousand type of mix so choose the one that suit your growing condition... you could start with Paphiopedilum barbatum which is native to penang and a low land species too... sorry if i have given you any wrong information because me too have only just started growing orchid... you should get the opinion from those expert. hopefully we could share information in growing orchid... Thanks kk... i'm hoping i don't get addicted to other species... for now i'm only interested in collection paph and phalae only... hahaha... i'm still waiting for my other paph and phalae to flower... currently really wanna get an Paphiopedilum sanderianum... god she is beautiful... any idea where i could find one??? Regards Jonathan

Sure Jon... Ill spare some for exchange... my lowii only got 2 new side shoots at the moment.. better let it double its size first. Btw jon if you really interested in adding some more phalaenopsis and paph to your collection try out this website; i-orchids, all asia orchids and ntorchids. They have quite a huge number of mouth watering species and hybrids
