David,
The picture entitling N. macfarlanei, I suspect is not true macfarlanei but its hybrid with ramispina - hence its dark coloration. Macfarlanei is more creamy in colour.

Nice pictures David. They look amazing, just too bad that they are highlanders. Btw, you might not want to show your wife the last picture of you by the cliff.

You might be right Choong. I remembered a macfarlanei that I saw in another hill. The red is much brighter too. Haa, haa, too late Isaac. She saw the last picture and was going on and on about how dangerous it was and that I am not allowed to go to anymore trips like these. I think she's just half playing with me. Just too excited and wanted to show her the pictures. Will take your advise in the future.
