Robert,
Thanks for sharing. Hot lips are eye catching as always. Didn't know they can grow this big.
How tall does the amp vine go up the trees?

Robert. Simply jaw dropping, especially the hot lips. What can we do to get them this big in cultivation?
My goodness, even the typical green speckle form is so huge and beautiful.
The amp in the first picture has a slight waist just below the peristome. Kinda unique.
That is a unique ant plant. Nicew!
Thanks for the pictures Robert

Isaac, they reach to about 6 meters. airasia is very affordable Dear Robert, 6 meters?!! that would mean lots of hanging pitchers? May I request for your help to take a photo of the hanging amp vines as well the next time you visit another amp site. I would love to see the whole plant. Yeah airasia was so cheap ($0.00++) when I booked for KK trip next month with my family. Going to Kinabalu park again and visiting some wetland sanctuary to catch a glimpse of the real fireflies Xmas tree experience. (the K. Selangor was a great one, but I heard the one near KK is even better! They also have a pitcher plant trail but I don't have the time) Rgds, Isaac

Robert. Simply jaw dropping, especially the hot lips. What can we do to get them this big in cultivation? My theory is Plant them into huge pots or ground, Pitcher feeding and fertilising. I will try this method gradually when they become bigger. I have seen someone doing it although the pitcher is not as big as the giant, it's still big. See below. Rgds, Isaac

What can we do to get them this big in cultivation? David, feed them fertilizer, and as they become more mature, repot into bigger pot. The amp we grow are different from those giant, but i could be wrong.

Hi Naj, i don't fertilize my neps regularly. I do it when i feel like. They survive with regular watering under nursery shade.
