Shawn, I totally have no idea of their origin. A friend told me most of the recent hybrids are from the Begonia rex complex. I didn't investigate further. Perhaps some of the forumer are more familiar. It's good to know some of their family origins!  Athene....you can have some leaf cuttings if you like. I was told they can be grown from leaf cuttings. yup...my 2nd last photo is the same plant as yours. Hmmm.....from same nursery too?  ?  |
