Hoya in the wild is epiphyte.. but to grow this beauty waxy plant you can mix the media like what I did.
1 top soil + 1 perlite + 1 coconut husk = it will grow happily in your hand.
For starting fertilizer, you can add 1 tea spoon of seaweed powder during you mix the media. Its enough to give macronutrien and micronutrien to your plant
Actually the media can be adjusted, depend on your microclimate.

Hi Khairi,
Thanks for your info & tips, btw, what do you mean by top soil? Is the coconut husk the cube type we used for growing neps? beside seaweed powder what other alternative fertiliser can I use to fertilise it? Kind of difficult to find this seaweed powder.
Thanks a million

Thanks a million top soil is like burnt tanah merah. usually normal nursery is selling it. it is mix with potting media to make it less sticky. dono what u say bout cube type since moss and coconut husk is all in cube. coconut husk is like brown husk grinned from coconut skin. usually it is in cube compact packing then u need to add water in order to use it.

Thanks undentified for the info. I haven't tried coconut husk before, saw some other members are using it, so not quite sure of it.
