wow, wonderful. I have 5 plants kept in my dad's garden and once they flower i know i should keep a distance from them Hi guys, Boonleng, I believe it is amorphophallus paeoniifolius...but that's not 100% confirmed. That flower is about 50 cm wide and 50 high. They actually grow wild here and pop up in unexpected places. I transplanted a few to locations (not too close to the house!) where I thought they'd be happier and less likely to get destroyed. I had heard all the "smells like rotting flesh" stories before, but must admit the first year this big one flowered I searched the yard for, what at first I though must be a dead rat, then an hour later thought dead cat, then dog, ...by the time I was starting to wonder how an elephant died in my yard I figured it out! Here's a couple shots of some of the larger ones; Is this the same species you have Robert? Here's another unidentified (and not as spectacular) species just now flowering;

Shawn, the stem coloration look the same , so are the leaves. Species wise they are different.
