Please help me confirm ID of the following pitchers. Ventrata or Alata? I was told this is a Ventrata? This one has a spotted pitcher, the leaves has a texture with small hairs Alata? TTFN Arvin

Aaron, don't worry I actually do not mind Ventrata, why you mind it? Too common? I saw your other post somewhere that you bought a new plant and it's again a Ventrata! Sorry about that. I don't mind much about Ventrata for now because it seems that maybe I only have 2 plants, and because they are hybrids they are easy to keep (apparently) and so good for begginers. I want to help CP popular where I am and best way to do this is to introduce begginers to easy plants. By the way, I do have what I think is a ventrata that has only just recently started to show some "life" so not all ventratas are easy to keep, this one I have been keeping for almost half year now without pitcher, without too much new leaves, etc. My other ventrata, I think 3rd and 4th picture in here, is ventrata, is doing just fine. Guys can any of you confirm the ID of the first 2 pictures and the last 2 pictures. By the way pictures 1 and 2 same plant, 3 and 4 same plant, 5 and 6 same plant. TTFN Arvin

Might be on the same boat as you, might say I hate Alata, I might have 5 of them But I'm still quite new to this and at least I have a few other species of Nepenthes already. I hope you find some other species to keep in the future. TTFN Arvin

Thanks Jonathan, I agree, so far the first picture seems to be an Alata as you mentioned and others have suggested. The second one is almost surely a Ventrata. The last one (last pair of photos) still not sure, some say it might be a vareity of Alata or some say Copelandii.

Lisham,
Did you mean the bottom photos? yeah they do look like small miranda leaves, but I have a Miranda actually and I think it is not Miranda. One thing that I noticed about the last plant is that the leaves has "Hairs". Which is not present in Alata or ventratas.
