Mike, what is the other parent? This one retained most the rafflesiana triats,esp. the wedge shape peristome.

How wish to have Raff x Hamata/Hamata x Raff hybrid.... No one in this world will want to mix them together....

One of the problems with hamata hybrids is that all the hamatas in cultivation seem to be male. And seeing that there are a lot less females in cultivation than males, its been hard (at the moment) to make such a hybrid. When it happens, it will be raff x hamata. The problem is getting a hamata to flower, as not many people have one that is of flowering age.

Robert, this rafflesiana is crossed to maxima x (maxima x Mixta).
This still looks more raff to me!
