I got a new N. viking x ampullaria a couple of weeks back and I found out something interesting. Perhaps some of you here already know this, but it's still interesting to me. Here's how the picthers look like. Looks more like xhookeriana to me except for the peristome that looks a little like vikings.. Then I rearranged the pots a week ago. I found a pitcher that has developed inbetween two big pots in total darkness. Here's the picther... It seems to follow the viking/globosa parent more and the viking trait appears when the picther is covered, just like how pure vikings behave, ie. having red picthers when the picthers are covered when they are developing.
