Here is a recent pitcher on our N. bical red x (spectabilis x northiana) This particular plant is vigorous in summer and winter for us.

The bical red x (spect x northiana) is one of the most variable and most colorful hybrid of this cross so far seen. I have about a dozen clones and each one is as varied as the next. There's one with even dark maroon pitchers and veichii-like red and green stripes. These do get large, btw. Sunbelle, have you notice how this hybrid likes to make multiple sideshoots?
