Hi guys, Dr Jumaat H.A of UKM visited my nursery yesterday. For information he is the founder of N.faizaliana 1991(named after his son), N.mapuluensis 1990, N.x alisaputrana, N.x gazallyana and N.x sarawakiensis. In 2006 he has found a new species and was named N.naquiyuddinnii - named after Pro-Chancellor UKM and the other species was elevated from a subspecies earlier - N.zakriana. According to him there will be a press conference sometime in May (Base on Pro-Chancellor availability) pertaining to these 2 new species. Yet to know whether attendance by invitation or open to public. I'll check with him and will update the information. Picture of both species can be located from my website. www.dapat.net/4zeplant

N. naquiyuddinnii looks like an elongated N. campanulata. Nice. Wonder if it is available for sale anywhere.

Hi Guys,
The press conference will be held on 9th May 2007 and it will be on invitation only. Both of the plants may not be displayed as it does not grows well in the UKM green house.
David,
I have the article published in PDF format. How to post in the forum for members reference. By the way, this Dr does not collect live Nepenthes - he collects herbarium. So I don't think there is any nursery offering the species yet.

Not possible to post PDF. Perhaps you can post on your website and put the link here. Either that Print screen on the document and save as jpeg. Then upload on web and post as picture. By the way, I've helped you remove the fullstop on your web link.
