hongrui, now i got 4 reasons to hate you...( the four cutie pie droseras u have which i don`t )..heheh.
O` yes, your d.capensis typical are doing very nicely in the sun. you think yours have some heat-tolerant genes ? coz you know lah this weed tends to like cooler weather....
good work hongrui.....my fav from your drosera collection is the d.pulchella of course.

thanks Naj, i'm mainly using a peat/perlite mix. LFS is used as a top layer for germinating seeds. the top layer of pebbles you see is just to prevent the peat/perlite mix from splashing out during heavy rains.
lol @ tarence. but how heat-tolerant the capensis are, i'm not too sure as my area does have cool nights (24-25C). i'm planning to do some leaf cuttings in one or 2 month's time and spread the capensis around SG and see if they do as well. that should tell how heat-tolerant they are.

Hongrui, how come your nite time temp is so low ? i`m getting a visual of someone placing huge blocks of ice in the garden at nite. heheh. or do you stay near the sea or is S`pore`s nite time temp really that low coz it`s an island ? mmmmm.....

Nope, no ice blocks laahhh. ;D its because i'm staying at mandai area, surrounded by a nature reserve/army training area and a reservoir, not much build-up around here thus accounting for the low night temps.
