What beauty! Nice specimens Jeff. What do you do to make them grow so fast? I have some VFT plantlets from seeds from Jason (GCS) some time back. I think it's almost 6 moths now. They have germinated but they seem to have stop growing. They've been at 1cm diameter for a couple of months now.
Any suggestion Jeff? Tiong Soon?

David, this VFT form is unqiue on its own, name "Creeping Death". Phil Golding is the only person has it. I save his Creeping Death Picture for admiring. Now you cant find this picture anywhere. He sells the seeds quite err... expensize. But i manage to get some.
He claims this form will grow BIGGER trap and LONGER leaf. As i see from the young seedling from small until now. I will confirm his words.
But right now my plants dont grow that vigorous anymore like the first year before its dormancy. But it takes time i guess. hahah

I assumed the condition provided is the same all this while, if it is, we can't do anything to let them grow by themself, they are too small to do anything. Some vfts forms are more vigorous than others, it depends on forms.

Thanks Cosmoking. After a few death of other cultvars, This is the only cultivar i treasure the most. I grow them from FL lighting to PL lighting to T5 lighting. Had spent alot of money on it. Tarence, I will post the pic tonight. This "Creeping death" is owned by Phil Golding. With the thicker skin, i beg him at least give me 25 seeds to try. He claims it is the most vigorous plant. I believe him now. I grow alot of VFT seeds, until this age, other VFT will still in small size, but not "creeping death". Full of potential and promising. For more detail, Check Bob's research. www.humboldt.edu/~rrz7001/zphotos/VFTCreepingDeath.html

Plants reproduced from seed will not be genetically identical to the parents and may or may not retain the characteristics of the parent. The only way to be sure the offspring will be like the parent is to clone (get a cutting or division).
