Heres some pics of my VFT baby, propagated from a leaf cutting primarily, the leaf cutting was placed in a nescafe bottle with a tight lid to prevent the humidity to escape. After the cutting had grown shoots (about 3-4 weeks), i thought that the bottle was too small, so i transfered it into my own 'flask'. the 'flask': the baby:

You have got to share your secret Naj. You seem to have such good results even with your Sundew leaf. Congrats man!

Jeff, i thot that u r successful enough to have propagated vft from a flower stalk cutting right? hehe ;D
David, I used the same technique as on the sundew leaves. Same with the vft here, i cut a healthy leaf to the white base.
Again, the medium must be really WET in order for the babies to sprout. I had placed another leaf in a tupperware and mist it with water twice a day, but it gives negative results. I think it is because the humidity is not consistent. Thats why the babies didnt sprout. Just my wild guess tho..

I think lately I've become a little lazy. I allow the media to get drier before filling it up wityh water again. Hmm, might have killed the seeds liao.
Must remind myself to keep the media really wet. Actually TS has also reminded me before... a couple of times I think... me bad...

BTW, what media are you using in your 'flask' and how wet is it?

Ruslan, the medium in the bottle is peat moss while the medium in the flask is peat moss and some perlite. I didnt know the ratio as i just dump them in the flask. I think its abt 3:1. I myself cant tell exactly how wet it is becos i dont have any device to capture the humidity. I just mantain it to be very wet
