My VFT flowering, but I found this... Look carefully, a plantlet emerged underneath the flowers. I did see post on this in some websites, but never expect it to happen on my VFTs.

Update on the plant. The plant put out another flower stalk, I cut it away, worry it will drain the energy too much. The plant still looked strong maybe due to the warm weather here, able to generate energy through photosynthesis with sufficient of food. The little plantlet grew so fast and it looked like this now.

It's awsome man! Was at his house yesterday night. The flower stalk already has a few traps. Really nice.

Hi TS, like your vft, my flower stalk was producing 2 plantlets previously. When they were big enough, I cut the entire stalk and lay it on my growing medium, and then, lightly cover it with sphagnum moss. I got another new clump of plantlets growing along the stalk.

Hi Liang, I'm planning of letting it there to see what happen and how big the plantlet can be.

Ya, I also waited until the traps were starting to dehydrate.
