Got this from a friend who bought it from sg buloh for me...it seems to be a darker red with striking combi-colours on the hood.... This picture was taken in the evening when light was insufficient. Seen in the correct lighting conditions, it is almost purple. The ones I have seen before this are either all green with smooth pitchers or the s.purpurea red ruffles.

Ok I went to sg buloh today and I saw this and I bought one. I just looked it up, do you think it's this? www.sarracenia.com/photos/sarracenia/srose06.jpg ;D Because if it's that, it's not a purpurea~ Btw, Hee also has an all green purpurea if anyone is interested. No veining at all on it. Also, Hee nursery has expanded. They have more neps and lots of other really interesting looking plants. Should check it out. Some really weird things...

Well just asked CPUK and they say it's not a rosea. But they say it's purpurea ssp purpurea. Haha so it's different anyway ;D

Zak , I`ve repotted mine. The existing medium looked a lil` black & had a funny rotting smell. Take a sniff at yours ! Haha. Hoping that the bigger pot & new medium will spur on the growth of the adult plant & plantlets.
I`m quite sure I have the s. purpurea rosea. It`s diff from this one coz the `hood` is opened up, whereas this one is sharp & pointy. I`ll try to post a pic by this week of it.
Cheers.........
