Hey there folks
Hot on the heels of nep fertilising topic, here comes another tried & tested scrumptious diet-assisting tip.
According to bujangteruna : try feeding your s.psittacina with frozen bloodworms `juice`.
Defrost worms.....juice them up ( i leave it to your imagination), pour into trap.
Dilution ratio s/be 1:3 or 1:2 ( juice:water)
His has grown to almost double the size of mine.
I guess microbiologists tend to experiment a bit more than us normal folks.
Cheers, Tarence.

My Sarracenia just feed themselves throughout the year so I dont bother with artificial feeding, but because all of them feed themselves I dont know how different/smaller etc. they would look if they didnt get food.

I wonder how bujangteruna pour the juice into the trap of a s.psittacina. The size of the plant became double of yours?! Wow, what is the diameter of the plant?

Cosmoking : i`m talking about s.psittacina specifically. if yours really feed themselves naturally, congrats.
Liang : the diameter is about the same as ours but the globular head is double the size. he uses a pippet to funnel the `juice` in. i`m going to try soon.

TS : hahaha....i understand how you feel but it`s very much like when the CPs feed on insects they catch themselves & suck the `juices` out. We are, of course, being more extreme. *smile* I see it as giving vitamin or supplementary pills to the CPs.
