It is not going to be a pure Leuco, if it was the flower would be dark red.

Robert, you could try potting it up in a deeper pot. Plant it low. The sides of the pot will assist to support the long pitchers in the future. esp during rainy season when the pitchers get filled with water & will topple over from the weight, some might snap. medium can be at the same level you are using....happy growing. i hope i`m not telling you stuff you oredi know.....heheh.

Good idea Athene.....i`m sure you sterilised-cleaned it first rite ? heheh. just kiddin. i KNOW you did. my only minor concern...air movement inside the bottle. does it get too humid/hot ? the young pitcher leaves might wilt if it`s too hot. just a thot.

Hi Robert, Glad to see the Sarr babies germinating for you! This is the mother of your babies S. readii #1 Alabama Red (natural hybrid of leuco x rubra) This is the pollen parent, or dad of your babies S. Yellow River Natural Hybrid (rubra x gilpini?) Imagine the combination of those two plants. Should be dark colored and very vigorous. Keep us updated as they grow. Michelle and Trent
