Last time I thought I got live moss it was just algae growth. So how about this? My dad brought back some plants from cameron just yesterday and one of the flowering things he got, which I don't really know what that is either... well the soil for it looked alot like peat moss. And it had what I think is dead sphagnum moss in it. And it had this growing out of it : It's now sitting on peat and perlite kept moist and I drip water on it once in a while or spray it and is kept at a bright window. So can anyone tell if this is sphagnum moss or is it just a weed? (Woot first thread ) Edit : This is the plant by the way. Know what it is? And if it grows in peat? P.S. I'm guessing with my luck it isn't sphagnum moss. I so wish I could get some. It's so rare~

HI Zak,
Very happy and looking forward for the forum members visit. Don't worry I'll spare some live sphagnum moss for you and maybe a cutting of N.Miranda that you wish to have or maybe you can even do the cutting yourself. I' ll be at the Craft Mart, Subang Parade this coming Saturday (11am - 8pm) and Sunday (11am - 6pm). Maybe you would like to come as I'll be bringing some books about Nepenthes if you like to read.

Fauzi, I like your tagline... "Nepenthes - unique plant for unique individual". How true indeed.
