just back from the johor bahru international orchids show. saw some species of nepenthes sold there such as n. sanguinea, n. macfarlanei, n. truncata, n. ventricosa, n. xmiranda and n. xventrata. the vendors are selling them with high price. n. truncata and n. ventricosa for RM 40. n. macfarlanei though sold just RM 18, its pitchers are small. don't think it can thrive after buying it home. have to think twice before purchasing it. now in the stage of considering. haha.

hi, the plants of course come from CH. the vendor comes from ipoh. besides, i also don't dare to try because all of my highland species die after weeks of purchase. at the show i aslo saw sarracenia too. i will buy the sphogum moss there. the show will be held until this sunday.

errr...YG park i suppose ? is the spaghnum moss from CH ah ? very bad quality those, it`ll turn black very fast. i suggest you stick to the higher quality ones from NZ, more expensive but lasts 4 times longer or more. Value for money.

erm....i will study what types of moss they are selling 1st. most of the moss are sold RM 5 per pack. no idea where the moss comes from. for the n.truncata, some of the pitchers are 15 cm in length. most of them shorter then 15 cm. but the vendor just sells them in standard price, all RM 40. very expensive. for the sarrs, they are selling two types of american-origin species. both of them are common species. no idea of how they're called.
