Sorry guys for the misinformations. The price quoted earlier are for small chillers, good enough for a 2 ft tank. If you want to cool to 22°C like Lau, be prepared to pay RM1500 to RM 2000.
Whether cooling by chillers or modified from small refrigerator or air con coils you must prepared to spend at least RM2,000!!
So much for growing highlanders.

That's why I'm surprised. Now the price you quoted sounds about right. I am in the aquarium hobby long enough to know even the supplier prices for commercial chillers like Resun which I am using one currently for my planted tank.
Furthermore, if you set your temperature at 22C, be prepared to have a very hot room (hot air emitted) plus a hefty electricity bill. My chiller is set at 25C now and I am paying like Rm30-40 to TNB. LOL.
It's an interesting idea though!

Hi guys, sorry for the delay in reply. Lau did not tell me what he use to chil the tank. That's why I am also looking forward to vist him and see how he build his tank. Lost of questions to ask him.
